The allowable working temperature of spherical plain bearings is mainly determined by the matching materials between the sliding surfaces of bearings, especially the plastic sliding surface of self-lubricating spherical plain bearings. Its bearing capacity will decline at high temperature.

If the sliding surface material of lubricated plain bearing is steel / steel, the allowable working temperature depends on the allowable working temperature of lubricant. However, for all lubricated and self-lubricating spherical plain bearings, they can be used in the temperature range of - 30 ℃ ~ + 80 ℃ and maintain correct bearing capacity.

The inclination angle of the spherical plain bearing is much larger than that of the general adjustable rolling bearing, which is very suitable for the supporting parts with low concentricity requirements. The inclination angle of the spherical plain bearing varies with the size, type, sealing device and support form of the bearing structure. The inclination angle range of the general centripetal spherical plain bearing is 3 ° ~ 15 °, and the inclination range of the angular contact spherical plain bearing is 2 ° ~ 3 °, The inclination range of thrust joint bearing is 6 ° ~ 9 °.


In any case, the matching selected by the joint bearing shall not cause uneven deformation of the ferrule, and the matching nature and grade must be determined according to the working conditions such as bearing type, support form and load.

Loading and unloading

The loading and unloading of plain bearings shall follow the following principle, that is, the force applied by assembly and disassembly cannot be directly transmitted through the spherical sliding surface. In addition, auxiliary loading and unloading tools, such as sleeves and disassemblers, shall be used to directly and evenly apply the external loading and unloading force to the matched ferrule, or no-load loading and unloading shall be carried out by auxiliary methods such as heating.
